The Bromley Boy Singers is a concert choir with a well-established reputation for quality performance and musical education.
Our aim is to help boys discover their musical abilities in an environment that encourages them to have fun while avoiding the peer pressure that can sometimes discourage them from singing at school. To achieve that the choir is completely independent of any school or church, financed entirely from subscriptions and donations and receives no funding from statutory bodies.
The choir performs an average of 10 concerts per year around Bromley and in central London, take part in local and national competitions, and tour abroad e.g. They just returned from a tour to Paris, performing by special invitation in Notre Dame Cathedral, L'Eglise de la Madeleine & Disneyland.
At theCornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival , they won the prestigious 'John Langdon Cup' in 2015, were runners-up in 2017 and performed at the Minack Theatre, Land's End and The Eden Project.
***40th ANNIVERSARY 2017***
Formed in 1977, we celebrated four decades of music making with two special Anniversary concerts and a special commission, 'Broadside Ballads' premiered at the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London in November.

Established in 1977, the choir has had a consistent focus on quality training. Currently more than 60 boys aged 7 - 18 are organised in four choir groups, receiving unique vocal and musical eduction. A boy might join the Training choir at age 7, progress through the Intermediate Choir and reach the Concert Choir who provide the main public face of the choir.
When his voice changes he can move into VISTRA where the training continues to help him establish a good Tenor or Bass voice ready for the opportunities of adult singing.
Please investigate our website, you may know a young boy who could enjoy being part of BBS or you may be considering hiring the choir. Perhaps you just want to find a place where boys' voices are skillfully developed.
